CHILDREN’S OUTREACH

Children are important to Mark—even more to God! According to Barna Research, nearly half of all Americans who accept Jesus Christ as their Savior do so before reaching the age of 13.
Mark felt called to work with children within the first year of forming One Man Show. At revival services, he would see kids in the pews looking bored and thought he could come up with a way to engage them. Thus, Bible Blast Off was born and, from there, a children’s ministry arm of One Man Show sprang into being.

The Right Choice Show
Over 14,000 children have seen the Right Choice show since Mark debuted it in 2006. The program uses comedy, illusions, storytelling, audience participation and music to inspire youngsters to make such right choices as honesty, kindness, citizenship and reading. This show is about 45 minutes and can be adapted for a church setting.

The Almost Amazing Marko
The Almost Amazing Marko is Mark’s slightly befuddled alter ego who seemingly messes up magic tricks, but they all come out right in the end. The kids, meanwhile, giggle, point out his mistakes, gasp with amazement and learn a thing or two about the Gospel in the whole process. Marko’s show can vary from 30 minutes to an hour, depending on your needs. He always hands out prizes at the end, usually candy or stickers.

Christmas Show
Marko’s Christmas show is holiday fun for all ages! On the hunt to build the “perfect Christmas,” Marko performs routines involving Santa Claus, Christmas trees, candy and other familiar holiday icons. Finally he finds the true meaning of Christmas in a small baby born in a manger. Use this show for any holiday occasion to remind youngsters the “reason for the season!”
