CHILDREN’S OUTREACH
Children are important to Mark—even more to
God! According to Barna Research, nearly half of all Americans who accept Jesus
Christ as their Savior do so before reaching the age of 13.
Mark felt called to work with children within the first year of forming One
Man Show. At revival services, he would see kids in the pews looking bored
and thought he could come up with a way to engage them. Thus, Bible
Blast Off was born and, from there, a children’s ministry arm of One Man Show sprang
into being.
Making the Right Choice
Mark created his “Making the Right Choice” show
to fit into a public school format when he is conducting revival services at
a local church. Through comedy, illusions, storytelling, audience participation
and music, children learn to make such wise choices as honesty, effort and
minding the rules. This show is about 45 minutes and can be adapted for a church
setting.
The Almost Amazing Marko
The Almost Amazing Marko is Mark’s slightly befuddled alter ego who seemingly
messes up magic tricks, but they all come out right in the end. The kids, meanwhile,
giggle, point out his mistakes, gasp with amazement and learn a thing or two
about the Gospel in the whole process. Marko’s show can vary from 30
minutes to an hour, depending on your needs. He always hands out prizes at
the end, usually candy or stickers.
Pockets the Clown
Pockets is a Happy Hobo with a pocketful of tricks, a mouthful of jokes and
a heart full of love for children. Pockets has been invited to Vacation Bible
School, Awana programs, Promotion Sunday events and worship services. He also
has a Christmas show and can fit into just about any time frame you need.
